Thanks Jason!

Nothing would give me more pleasure than my post serving as inspiration to other forum members to start their own Euro adventures... It's a truly amazing experience.

Great post, especially the one comment of gas bills. Now you understand what the price of gas should be also in States

True. I simply don't think I'd have an M3 as a daily driver in Europe...

what an amazing trip. spain is fantastic, and i love that you went through three seperate countries just to put 1.2k miles on that beast for the ring.

i have to say, what an experience that must have been. too bad you may have spent all those savings from ED on euro priced petrol. YIKES!!! oh and did i forget the autostrada tolls?

AWSOME TRIP !!! Great pics....Looks like you had a fantastic time ! !

Now I know I should have gone to Europe after I graduated university instead of getting a job right away. Unfortunately that was 20 years ago :-)

Thanks for all the kind words.

It was at times difficult to juggle the family responsibilities and posting (mainly due to spotty wifi), but I did the best I could.

Now only to sort through the 24 GB of pictures and videos, postprocess them... come to think about it, I didn't get a chance to post any videos - let's see how there came out...

I think you're definitely overdue on a European adventure... 2010 model perhaps?

That was my wife who snapped that pic, I was on track doing my best to keep the sunny side up... I only got to see the RS6 parked.

But the most amazing car I saw over there was an early 60s Beetle in purple metallic with a supercharged 911 engine in it. It sounded mean, had a fuel cell in the front and full rollcage interior and its main oil line was probably 2" thick.

He was giving rides, unfortunately the track closed before I could beg for a lap.

The Ring is truly the mecca for all us gearheads, and even non-gearheads like mrs. adc can feel and appreciate the electrifying atmosphere.

I don't think I could match that trip in 3 ED's. I'm just planning on a little beer in Germany during some cultural festival going on in late September and the "Heineken" tour in Amsterdam. Great pics and looks like you guys had a great time.

If you're ever back in Spain, the inside of the Sagrada Familia is definitely worth checking out. Absolutely amazing construction.
