Yeah, I have seen that 911 in person, I lived in Hoover (suburb of Birmingham) up until December. Sad thing though is that they never use it for any kind of patrol use at all. It really is nothing more than a showcar to drive to high schools and show what can happen if you become a drug dealer.

I saw it at the Porsche 250 Grand Am race at Barber Motorsports Park this past weekend, I really don't even recall seeing a police radio in it!

I would be right pissed if I blew past a Porsche and it turned out to be a cop car. It's high time they lower the police department's bugets around the country. Money's tight these days, let them spend it investigating "real" crime, like murders, burglaries, rapes and the like, and let people deal with the consequences of their driving (driving that does not kill/maim someone) on their own.
