VMR VB3 & Toyo R888's for VF-Engineering Project E92 M3
Hello
Freshly acquired for the VF-Engineering Project E92 M3, from VMR wheels and Toyo Tires. Wheel & Tire specs: Toyo R888 265/30/19 fronts & 295/30ZR19 rears VMR VB3 Satin Black 19x10 rear et22 & 19x9.5 fronts et25 ![]() The Proxes R888 is a street-legal motor sport tire recommended for competition use. The Proxes R888 has a low-void ratio to minimize tread squirm on dry tracks. The new groove design optimizes water drainage from the contact patch. Round tread shoulders for progressive turn-in. Casing construction & belt package designed for optimized cornering & braking grip. Provides competitive performance for a wide range of motor sport disciplines, from hill-climbs to endurance racing. Fast warm-up & predictable behaviour when cold. Progressive brake-away provides predictable vehicle control. VMR Wheels Model VB3 allows for an aggressive look without losing the factory styling. The classic VB3 mesh design has only gotten better, with a wider and more concave version. Toyo R888's getting ready to be mounted ![]() Mounting by Eric@Supreme Power ![]() VMR/Toyo's on the balancer ![]() one down, three to go ![]() R888's mounted to VMR's VB3's ![]() Back at the shop- ![]() Last edited by Hubert@VF; 07-24-2009 at 04:12 PM. |

Why did you guys get wheels with wrong offsets for the E92 M3? Those are way off to look good. They are sucked in more than stock!

Offsets are correct, VF is running a 9.5" front wheel.

![]() The original posted offsets were way off for the E92 M3, then Hubert went back and edited them to show the correct offsets! ![]() That's what Andy was commenting on earlier...

I would have dropped it, but you keep trying to make me look dumb. YOU listed the offsets wrong to begin with, not me. Thanks for changing it and listing them correctly, it really clears things up. If I would not have pointed it out, you would still have the wrong offsets wrong. Let's just all drop it now.

Andy, thanks again for pointing out the incorrect text/offset that was typed. Tom also knew the correct offset as well from beginning and knew of the typo to begin with-since his knowledge with the VMR lineup is known... The fitment is perfect for our likings for street, track or more.

We dont have winters here in CA, just little showers jk. They drive excellent in dry, it hasn't rained here for months, but the tread design will likely do its job in the wet as well.Last edited by Hubert@VF; 07-27-2009 at 10:43 PM. |

bigjae,
The rears are very ominous looking, with no rubbing with the current setup. Once we get the M on the track-spirited drives or other, we'll know 100% about any rubbing. But around town/city, no rub. |
