+1 I'm in the same boat as you.

I started eating cleaner (no fat) and doing cardio again along with weights and my cycle of animal cuts which I started 2 days ago.

I'm @ 166 lbs. right now - hoping to be around 150 cut/lean within 4 weeks, but that may be pushing it.

My progress in the last 6 months has been fantastic. I started at 182 lbs and a body of jello (skinny, but decent sized tummy and soft muscles everywhere). I've turned around my eating habits and almost entirely cut out cookies, candy, chips, soda, fast food, etc. and consistently hit the gym 3-4 times a week.

I'm about 172 lbs now and lost my belly and have a solid body all over. Muscles ripple where I didn't know I had them before (lol). My pecs are looking good, defined and have become mini-man boobs. My abs are a key focus and I'm trying to now go the next level and uncover a six pack. I know the ab muscles are there but diet and cardio takes such strict focus to see them defined. Another bonus is women can't keep their hands off my ass - fantastic.

My workouts consists of 15 min stretching/stationary ab work, 30 min of lifting, 10 min of ab work, and 15 min of running... putting me at an avg 70min workout time. Then always a good amount of protein within 45 min. I'm lean as shit now and sooooo happy with the way my body is turning out. Workout ftw!

Wow, only 140 lbs?! Looking good, man. Must have a pretty low body fat %. Single digit I'm thinking for the abs to be shown.

Yeah...140lbs is actually the most I ever see. My weight fluctuates +/- 4lbs throughout the day....I usually see anywhere from 135 lbs (my lowest) to 139 lbs (highest). But thanks.

BTW, great job on all your progress thus far. Very impressive.

Anybody ever have forearm pain when doing certain workouts, like preacher curls?

For ex, I usually do like 55 lb preacher curls (including bar), maybe 15-20 reps. When I let down the weight, I get this SHARP pain in my forearms. Hurts pretty bad. I don't think it's because the weight is too heavy since I can do 20 reps no problem, it's just the pain that is slowing me down.

Doesn't take that long at all man. I gained around 10 lbs in muscle in about 2 months. Now I think I'm sort of at a plateau..but then again I stopped taking protein so maybe that's why.

I've been tracking my progress on another forum. I started at the beginning of May, so this is essentially just over 2 months of progress. I haven't been training hardcore but I've changed my diet and started consistent excercise. I feel 5x better than I did, have much more energy, and my body has gone from flimsy to firm. It's grrrrreat!

Before/after for the last 2 months, front and back:

Take a whey, which has bcaa's, multi and a cutting supplement now.

Yup, with single digits comes six pack, usually.

Never had forearm pain but my wrists hurt with preachers, to the point where I couldn't write with a pen the next day. I invested in a nice set of wrist guards and it worked out perfectly. I got up to 125lbs on the preacher without ANY pain in wrists or forearms. Try giving some wrist guards a try.

Try changing up your workout routine, that's usually the main reason for a plateau. Try hitting heavier weights for example, rather than the weights you were used to working out with and that should give you somewhat of a better edge.

Thanks, man. I'm getting happy with the way things are working out. I haven't been on supplements this whole time so I just bought some Whey w/ Leucene (Wheybolic Extreme 60) which I've used in the past and loved. It helps with strength, size, and recovery, so now that I'm leaning up it's time to add some bulk.

Really to get in the best shape of my life. I have 2 things working against me: 1) I work in an office, so I get practically no excercise during the day, and 2) I ride motorcycles, and major crashes w/ 4 wk recovery periods keep sending me right back to the start, no muscle/weight. Blah.

When I started a little over 2 years ago I fluctuated in weight between 130-135. Now I weigh between 155-160 (haven't stepped on a scale in a while).

My goal by this time next year is 175 which I should be able to accomplish within 6-8months. Besides having a more defined mid-section. Not the end of the summer yet, but I'm slowly starting to increase my caloric intake.

Actually haven't been going to the gym at all. Got the iron gym about 2 months ago. That's all I've been using since. This is how far I got so far.

I'd definitely say the Iron Gym is worth getting.
