Great pics.

One suggestion though...lose the black background (if possible) as it swallows up the black CH-R's.

Question

I don't mean to hijack the thread, but I have always loved the CH's even in my younger lexus modding days, but I was wondering since 20" is usually more show than go, is there an advantage of going with the forged wheel companies with 20" wheels vs. going with a well made cast such as these CH-Rs. I enjoy these CH-R's but was wondering the cons compared to other 20" more expensive wheels?

Thanks for your patience everyone.

Probably more depends on the QUALITY of the wheel and the engineering behind it than anything. a well made flow formed cast wheel like BBS is VERY strong and they test and engineer the daylights out of them.

20" forged wheels will cost you $1500-$4000 dollars more per set than these 20" BBS CH-R wheels. A set of these BBS LM-R's will only cost you approx. $2300-$2400 bucks.(pm Greg at GTM for pricing)

You can't buy a forged 20" modular multi-piece wheel (of any real quality) for that price.

And...you could buy the CH-R's plus tires for less than the cost of a set of 20" forged wheels without tires.

Considering what typically passes for 'forged' these days, the flow-formed cast monoblock CH-R's strength is very similar. (unless the 20" wheel happens to be a BBS 2-piece LM or LM-R)

They are a few pounds heavier each, but the price point and drop dead gorgeous looks tip the scales in the favor of the CH-R.

Just my 2 cents...

Later this fall. (in the E9x M3 fitment)

Actually, the factory just got the approval (green light) from the corporate office in Schiltach to begin the design, testing, and production phases on all the 19" CH-R fitments.

What color black or silver? I have the same car as you and was hoping that silver might be nice too! I personally prefer the classical look over sporty look.

I too prefer the classic silver look for my AW E92. Can't get my head around black rims...Showing my age... Anyone got any pictures of the 20's in silver?
