Help me with this...
Am considering Dinan mods(exhaust, flash, springs, swaybar). The cynic in me sees this: something breaks in the car, BMW makes a lame claim it's due to the mods but they have the power and it's up to me despite the law to change their mind or pay a lawyer($350/hr around here). Dinan rightly says it's not the fault of their mods so their warranty does not apply-so how is that better than any other mod company- don't they ALL warranty their actual stuff- how is Dinan's better in real life? I want it to be I NEED my warranty? Opinions? THANKS IN ADVANCE.

If you are on the fence about your warranty then just keep the car stock and leave the modding to others. The bottom line is if the part that you changed isn't directly responsible for another part failing then your warranty will cover it. Please don't throw your money away buying hugely overpriced Dinan parts.
