thanks for the info! i saw it on autotrader and called the dealer but they said someone already put a deposit down on it. it doesn't have a carbon fiber roof.
the dealer said the ones with a moonroof go for $700-800 more vs the carbon. i was surprised by that because I like the looks of the carbon roof. |

Invoice on a fully loaded $70k M3 is around $65k. I might wait until the 2010s come out. BMWNA should discount the new 09 M3s $7k or so off like last year for the 08s.
I still have to pay Indiana state sales tax when I register it and that's a full 7% I already get raped enough on taxes. Some states only charge a quarter of a percent sales tax on cars.If I spend ~$55k on a slightly used M3 + 7% tax = ~$59k + another couple grand for other IN registration/title fees ~$61-62k So new 09 M3 reduced to $55-58k + (no sales tax for the first $50k since it's a new car) = ~$58 to $60k. Any thoughts are much appreciated! Thanks |

I'm not sure if that Craigslist link is the same link to this car but...
http://www.autotrader.com/dealers/dd...5&cardist=7681 And be thankful that you won't be paying Seattle tax on your car. I have to pay 9.8% when I order my 2010... |

![]() ouch to 9.8% !! but the 7% Indiana tax plus additional title and registration fees will exceed 10% of the purchase price regardless if it's new or used which is crap.at least you'll get 9.8% back on the first $49.5k if your AGI is below $125k. just maximize the pretax deductions http://www.irs.gov/newsroom/article/...205863,00.html |
