Suction cup mount, centered behind mirror, as high as possible to still be able to get a clear view out the back. No pictures needed - just look. Least obtrusive/most functional combo.

+1. Mine is to the left of the mirror, up as high as possible.

My radar is on left side of mirror high up right under the tint strip

I find the front windshield to be very small in this car, at least compared to the E46

Just got it installed today>>>>Kind of bothers me having it to the left of the mirror but I guess being stealth is what really matters.....

Does the back antenna function properly being there ???

Top of windshield works best for radar, bottom best for laser.

Depends on how giant your melon is. It just needs a reasonably clear shot to the rear, nothing like the old-timers mounting a second Passport in the rear window......

I have it on the right side. Left side was too difficult as my mirror is tilted that way taking up more space and when it comes time to do minor adjustments to the mirror I find it more difficult.

Great - now midgets with wandering eyes. What sort of forum have I joined????

I would have a hard time reaching right of the mirror to silence false alerts. Oh - midget with reaaaaaaalllly long arms. Now I get the picture!
