C55 experience....

I went into driving this car w/ the expectation that it would be "OK", I could never have been more wrong. This car might as well have ripped my heart out when I "tapped" the throttle, the gear changes were beyond lightning fast, as w/ all AMG cars, this thing is sheer speed in a matter of blinks and winks. The engine makes a beautiful baratone grumble that turns into a shouting match between all it's parts w/ w/e is going on in the engine. I didn't mess w/ the little AMG paddle shifters for the simple reason that would have been a major distraction in the overall driving experience. The steering is almost BMW sharp, but w/ the next generation car I think they'll nail it, it's that close. The chassis on the other hand is just a little too wobbly to my liking or that of a friend of mine whos' an automotive journalist. The E90 is far more rigid. Was this car worth the $50k asking price? I'll take a rain check for the C63
