Unhappy Tire Question and Problem

Howdy guys!

I'm looking for some help on this one. I found a little bump on the side wall of my front-driver's side tire this morning. It's about the size of a quarter and rises up about 1/8th of an inch. There is no puncture mark, and the tire isn't loosing any air. And the rubber in and around this bump doesn't seem to have the look of stress in it.

So I'm pretty sure this is bad. My question is HOW bad. Do you think this a don't-drive-on-it-fix-it-now sort of thing? Or could a wait a few days? Any input would great!

Thanks a bunch!

Fix it asap, the casing of the tyre has been damaged...if you absolutely must drive then avoid high speed or stressing the tyre.

Agree, it is a sidewall blister. Get it replaced ASAP (along with the other front if it was much wear so that they match.)

A tire with more than surface sidewall damage (or unknown defect) = Immediate replacement

Period.

Ah-so.

That's what I thought. Getting both fronts replaced this afternoon, just to be safe.

THANKS GUYS!
