2009 E92 - good deal?

Hi all,

Going to pick up a new 2009 E92 tomorrow morning. Sticker is $73,220.00 for AW/Red, Tech Pkg, Prm Pkg, DCT, Carbon top, Enhanced sound, rear parking, smartphone, iPod/USB, etc. Paying $68,620.00... is that a good deal?

Also, planning on financing with BMW Select to get the payments down... but the fully deferred payment price of $81,272.80 scares me :-\

Thanks!

Did you order this car or is it already on the lot? If you don't mind me asking, what dealership?

I've been looking for a new M3 my self and I've noticed that San Diego dealers don't give you good discounts as people have gotten on this forum. I would contact will at bmw long beach. People on this forum have got good deals from him.

Good luck!

It is not a San Diego dealer... it's actually pretty far away, but was going to drive up to get it. So it's not a good deal then? I spent countless hours negotiating at many different dealers and this was as low as I could get.

Thanks,
Aaron

I'd say it's a pretty good deal.

So I think you could of negotiated a bit lower - not completely sure of your specs, but this is what your car costs at invoice prices according to the data you gave (don't quote me - wasn't sure if you got extended leather, etc.):

Base Price: 52,900
DCT: 2,640
Premium Package: 1,820
Technology Package: 2,960
19" Forged and polished Double Spoke: 1,090
Smartphone Integration: 135
Enhanced Premium Sound: 1,730
iPod and USB adapter: 365
Park Distance Control (rear only): 320

Total @ Invoice: 63,960
Sale Price: 68,620
Premium Paid: 4,660
Premium as % of Invoice: 7.3%

I have no idea if getting invoice is realistic these days for an '09 coupe, so this could be a good deal?

Well it may not be that bad .. ! Does your sale price include GGT ($1300)and destination charge ($825) as well. If it did your premium paid is 4660-2125 = $2535 which still sucks in this economy.

Here is what you do .. run the invoice prices (DON'T include GGT and destination) and say here's $300-$750 more. Bite or No bite .. and walk .. to the next delearship across the street. Be willing to go out of your area as well. For example in Miami, FL .. people have difficulty even budging of MSRP .. !! It is not worth getting shafted in this economy .. your cash is king.

good luck .. !!!
