more black

im still trying to decide whether i should go with matte black grills and side grills on my jb e90. I already have carbon roundels, tinted window, and head and tailights in the works or done. I guess im thinking since i blacked out most of the car why not do the rest. How difficult are these 2 things to install, as they arent that much money i could change back and forth possibly if so motivated?

I just did the install on mine 2 days ago. It took me about 45 minutes to do the kidneys and sides. The sides on the E90 area bitch to get out. It almost feels like you're going to break them before they come out.

ya, front gills took maybe 8 minutes. Longest part was taking the top four screws out to release the bumper.

Curious, what are you planning on doing with your headlights?
Im also going for a murdered look, but too scared to mess with the headlights. The matte black grill should look nice (I'll be getting the painted Jerez Black)

Post some more pics of your cars, interested in seeing how your smoked tails came out.

i am putting in the 20,000k hid kit from camaro on this site then using laminex light film to darken the lenses a little bit. If i dont like it i will just peel them off again. I am thinking that the hid kit will be sooo bright that toning them down a little with the film will look nice and give me that darker front end to match the rear with tailights smoked.
