100% down for a Saturday morning ride! Plus close to Bear Mountain theres another nice little road that takes you to a money scenic overlook of the Hudson just north of West Point (can only fit two cars, maybe squeeze in a third though). Then of course there is West Point itself, I live on post and although old for me its a nice place to roll through if you've never/hardly been.

Sorry for the lack of thread skill, just gonna have to cut and paste:

Damn it, I will be down in the city Sunday morning with family for Easter . Anyway for the next time you guys are up here I would head north from the traffic circle up 9W, get off at 218 (the exit for West Point). Stay on that for a mile and a half and then go through West Point (once in stay on the main road - you have to go through securtiy just tell the gate guards that the M3 show has come into town for the cadets). After winding through post (and hopefully stopping to check things out) you will come to Washington Gate. Make the right out of the gate and follow 218 - this is the fun part - until you get to that little spot marked on the map above. Again, it can only handle like 2 cars at a time, and you will see its not in the best spot for a lookout (blind corners on each side) but the view is tight. Then Painter's in Cornwall is a great spot for Brunch/Lunch.

Alright, that doesn't go anywhere when you put it in your browser like its suppose to. Just put in West Point NY in google maps and go north along 218 until it hooks hard to the northwest.
