Someone recently asked on this message board if the M3 door allowed for magnets and although he caught hell for asking the question (and even received a photochop), I suppose he finally has his answer.

There was at one time several exotic/performance car rental businesses in Houston, and all of them went belly up. It is a labor of love if anything. It is never profitable, and essentially amounts to an opportunity to own every exotic car you've ever dreamed of owning without the risk of being sued individually for deficiencies when you've defaulted on the secured loans.

I know of a few exotic car rentals down in south beach and they do very well...i actually thought of leasing a gallardo and putting it up for rental...figure if you rent it out once it month, that covers the payment...another rental will cover insurance...i know thats the simple version but it could work

Why not? I'm sure there are a few cats out there that would love to rent one of those for the weekend!

You've never seen exotics being rented?

You would have to be putting at least 25k down

You can rent gallardos for under 1k/day here in so cal

I would say at least 3 rentals per month to cover cost + insurance

Plus cost of maintenance/repairs. I dunno about you, but I'd be driving the hell out of any exotic I got my hands on.

True...forgot about maintenance.

Although most of these rental outlets limit you to low mileage. That doesn't mean you can ride it hard for the 50miles allowed

hhahha that sticker has to go... even enterprise doesnt put a huge rent me sign on their cars... a small bumper sticker should be sufficient.
