How perfect (clean of debris/lint) is your tint?

I admit I haven't paid this much attention of my previous cars. Even my last 911 that I traded in I didn't subscribe to forums or read about the car. With that being said, I think I notice things on the M more than I would've in previous years. So my mind could playing tricks on me... and hence asking you guys out there.

How clean is your tint (particularly the back window) of lint/debris? I have a few bubbles (very small obviously) that I see lint trapped in there. I had them redo it the first time and the second isn't much better. This is a pretty well known place in the Puget Sound area and I was surprised by the job. I installed ceramic Formula 1.

Anyway, if you could sound off I'd appreciate it.

i have the same problem. F1 ceramic also. Had them redo it three times and theres always some problem with lint, so i finally gave up. My $100 tint job at a crappy tint shop using no name tint had better install quality. you are not alone.

I haven't noticed any dust or debris on mine, but then again I haven't looked that closely. But unless you had your car tinted in a lab, I think there will be some dust that will find its way under your tint.

+1
it would be difficult to find ZERO flaws in the tint. some people have bubbles, some have lint. mine doesnt cover the dot matrix completely (ie bubbles around the dot matrix).... i am quite happy with it though since the problem isnt very significant.

Mine doesn't have lint anywhere (including the windshield I had tinted) nor any bubbles.

+1. I am happy with my tint job using Johnson Greystone GSN 50. The very few contaminants that are present are to the edges of all the windows. For the front windows they are not in sight when looking at the side mirrors.
