Front turn signal LED resistor

would these work for the front LED resistor?

i have used these before and they don't get as hot as the regular gold coloured metal ones
so less chance of burning/melting something

i just want to avoid using the regular metal ones, as i used them on my crossfire and they always burned through anything that got close to them
and they burnt me whenever i tried to change one of the bulbs etc
