Don't think about it this way, you're actually getting a very good tire for your money. From the avatar I see you have 18s, only $52 more than RE050A. The rear PS2 in 18 are on special, I see.

yes, I suppose you all are right... not a huge difference in price and the fronts are fine...
I will probably just milk these till the end and get the same ones in rear... they actually have some time left, at 14k I thought they would be completely done!

I guess this is the good to have the 18's, when they need replacing lol??

Thanks for the responses... 5K miles is more of a guess when the rears may be finished. I have about 3k on the car now and they seem to be about half worn. We will have to see how they finish. I've done a few LC and use S5 on a frequent basis. The 1-2 and 2-3 shifts always spin a bit and Im sure that is a contributing factor to my accelerated wear.

For sure the tires are fantastic. If they last 10K I will probably get another set. If less I will try the Cont 3 or maybe those new BS RE11

Cheers.

BFG G force sport is a great tire with good treadwear if you can get the right sizes. and BFG is owned by Michelin.
