Okay but, isn't that method a bit unrealistic? How is it that you measured your scoops with your dyno to have 7whp and a regular dyno with the car sitting straight and the fan directly infront of the car only gets 1whp!

I may not be understanding your logic for making such a statement about the scoops being mounted high, can you explain?

The car is on an incline, what do you mean?

The scoops are mounted at the top of the kidneys, that is why the angle the fan is at is important.

It depends on the type of fan also. There is a reason we DONT put the fan right in front of the car. THe dyno operator should know the specs given by the fan manufacturer. If you put your hand right in front of our fan, you will almost feel nothing. Hold your hand farther back and you'll feel it. Also, there are fan rated at certain cfm, but the velocity is very important also. We have a high velocity PAterson fan that was made for Dyno Dynamics. We always have the fan set 8ft from the front of the car and the angle set at 0 degrees.

I was asking about the new exhaust you put out. I was wondering what kind of gain's I would get with your Front and mid pipe only system with a stock muffler? thanks

+1

I bet Air Scoops really help when 70+ MPH Winds are going through them

If it were tested in a wind tunnel, they would have a big effect on horsepower
