Why spend the money on an //M to then screw up one of the best parts of the car: the handling set-up. To just add an agressive drop screws it all up. To change one thing, requires changing many things, and changing them very carefully and with lots of understanding of how every little difference affects every part. Not easy, and certainly not simple.

I've had mine on for a week now. I'm happy with the feel. Definitely tighter and stiffer, but subtle enough that it still has not lost that double life ability to cruise around town comfortably one minute and dive into your favorite corner without feeling comprised the next.
Question: How long does it normally take for springs to settle? I measured before and after and I've only got about 1/4" drop at this point. I'm assuming it's going to settle another 1/4", just wondering how long that normally takes.

Call Dinan and ask. AFAIK there should be no "settling" other than getting fully seated.

Yes just got back from the One Day M School at the PDC in SC and drove it down along with Ase2Dais and it seems to have settled nicely! Did great on the drive and we had too much fun at the PDC. I didn't want to leave! LOL

If I was lowering the car I'd probably go Eibach - the drop is in between the H&R and Dinan's, just right IMO... but everybody is different...

Anybody have the spring rate specifications on the Dinan springs?

The thing is Dinan says they retain stock suspension travel specs by making other adjustments, namely, the use of shorter and modified (not just cut short) bumpstops and modified guide sports. To the best of my knowledge, no other aftermarket spring vendor deals with this. See Dinan's article here:

So, essentially, you end up with the same suspension travel, slightly firmer springs, and a subtle drop. They say the dampers work well with the slightly firmer spring. I am sure they've explored higher spring stiffness values to see where dampers stop working well with the springs as a system (from a performance and not necessarily a durability perspective), but I haven't seen any discussion on that from them.
