Best Springs and Spacers for e92 M3
I know H & R have good springs and spacers, but ive heard some people say there better ones out there
I want to get 20 mm spacers for the back and the 10mm for the front, is that a good offset or should i get a different size. anyone have any good recommendations? im new to suspensions and spacers, so any help will be much appreciated, thanks

I think i'm going to go with RD springs and 12mmF/10mmR. 20MM in the rear is too much.

I agree with you about the 20mm, the tires will be out of the fenders way too much, I think.

I have no recommendation on spacers but H&R springs rock

Have you had any problems with your H&Rs?

I've only had them a week but no problems so far. They're a bit stiffer than stock but they make the car feel so much more 'correct' in terms of stiffness. It feels like these are what the M3 should have had from the factory. Just be really careful with driveways, the car sits pretty low in front.

You should also get an alignment done a week or two after you get the springs installed. I had mine done today and it was totally off. Also, check your tire pressures when you first get your car. Mine were at only 28psi warm the day I brought the car home.

I had H&R springs on my S5, and they caused so many problems for me. I am not sure if it was because of the race springs, however I would put something more reliable like coilovers on an m3.

You put H&R race on your S5? Yeah, that would not be good on the street.
There are many people on here with H&R springs with no issues whatsoever.

+1 I went with 12mm front and 10mm rear last thursday and it's pretty sick. 20mm in the rear would be waaaay too much.

Go with H&R Springs, H&R or Ichiba spacers 15mm all around. 20mm will be too much, believe me..

As for springs, H&R or RD Sport would be your best choices and play nicely with EDC-equipped vehicles.

Neither did it. Wouldn't discount the Dinan parts or labor. PM me for the shop in VA that did my install.

Check out swift springs. They are a far superior design to H&R etc, very light weight which improves ride quality. I got a set for my TCKline D/A coil overs and they were much better than the vogtland springs that came with them.
Email swift for a custom setup and they'll help you find a local dealer too. http://www.swiftsprings.com/

Yep. It's mostly cosmetic and it does look a lot better. There's a bit of stability improvement from the wider track too.
