Well in fact i am a huge petrol head and i bought my car for what it can do but i have to admit another big reason for getting a bmw performance car instead of a subaru or a evo is because that it is a lot better looking and can be posed around in when i am not driving fast.

personally, i find debadged cars showier and more pretentious than stock ones, not so much in bmw, but more with benz and other brands, like people are trying to be exclusive, or make it look like more than it is, or less depending.
i do a double take when a car has no designation on the back, subconsciously attracting more attention than when it actually had a clear badge
