Transmission Malfunction?!?!!!!

My on board cpu read "Tranmission Malfuntion Vehicle can still be driven but please bring to nearest bmw center". everything seemed fine and then i restarted the engine after driving about 10 miles and the messege went away. Is this a major concern or just a minor glitch???. Guy I need some input

Its happened to some before and just goes away; if it happens again, take it to the dealer.

Definitely DCT. Clutches are supposed to be human operated not computer operated.

happened to me
I went on and if you turned the car off the light would go off, but when you drove the car like 10 minutes it came back.

The mechanic at bmw thought that maybe the clutches were bad because you could felt like the clutches were slipping, but luckily nothing was wrong, the transmission had to be reprogrammed because the parameters of the clutch in the transmission were off and the clutch was not engaging like it was supposed to. They reprogrammed the transmission with the new parameters and gave the car the update and the car is running great now.
