E92 M3 Exhaust
Any info on what the best exhaust for the E92 m3 may be? I want a nice sound (closer to a Ferrari than a vette) with no drone. There are so many choices out there that in my opinion it is hard to make an educated decision. Thanks in advance for your help.

I would check out the Vorsteiner Titanium Sport Exhaust or the Active Autowerke Signature E9X M3 Exhaust. Both are solid upgrades over the factory system that will improve the sound and make the car more aggressive. However, they are designed to not destroy the comfort of your factory system by being overly aggressive or drone.

The problem is the drone... and you can't tell until you hear it yourself. Idling vs. moderate load, vs. WOT all is different. I had a car that had an exhaust that sounded great..... from the outside. But from 2,000 to 2,5000 RPM, I thought the drone was unbearable. I removed the exhaust within a week. All the research I did didn't show the drone. Matter of fact, many people said it was alright... my point is, try to hear it in person if you can.
