Did I make the right choice?

Hey everyone just wanted your opinions. I ordered the Dinan 3.62 diff. Now I am running 19" LM-R with stock PS2. Do you think that tire/wheel combo will handle the 3.62? Dinan recommends 20" rims and 30 series tires.

Did I make a mistake and should have gone with the 3.45? If so, hopefully I can still switch my order.

Opinions will greatly appreciated.

I think youll be fine.... there is a very small difference between the stock ps2's and 20's with a 30 series....

Dinan states:

Quote:
The 3.62 ratio is also recommended for cars equipped with 20" wheels and 30 series tires as the gearing will compensate for the slightly taller tire/wheel combination.
I wouldn't read this as Dinan recommends you use 20"/30 tires with the diff - they're just saying it helps if you have that wheel/tire combo as the circumference of the 20/30 combo is larger than stock wheel/tire combinations...

If they did recommend the 20/30 combo then they'd be severely limiting their market reach...

Exactly youlll be fine..... If you went to stock 18's with like a 25 series profile then it would be a significant difference

Time to get 20's just joking Kev. The 3.62 will be fine with your setup.

I would upgrade to 20" down the road, but for now I think you will be fine.
