Can you pull the shift boot leather all the way over the knob if you get a new cover that includes leather covering for the shift knob?

I'm not sure I understand your question. I can make shift knobs in Alcantara or leather to match each other. I cannot make one-piece knob-boots like BMW does... mine will always be 2 pieces. I don't have a bedpost sewing machine that can get in to such a small necked down area.

I noticed that too. I wonder why they use white thread when the whole point of it is that it's supposed to be the same as the M color stitching... which has no white.
