Always love to see new M3's on this site (even though there is no shortage of pictures here) but I'm even more excited to see another car with moonroof. I have it too and actually wanted it that way. No regrets here!

Congrats on your new car!

Thanks for all the comments. I never tire of looking at nice cars and really enjoy this forum- much more positive than most. I'm lucky in the car department, mostly because of an understanding wife (who also likes cars- she drives an SL500).

the front end on your m3 looks odd to me. It looks like it has an overbite or something...

that 914 is awesome. it looks like it is in great condition. I always loved that car.

Blip- I'm kind of in the overbite business and I think it's the angle of the picture. The lighting does highlight the front end. I initially wanted a sedan and think it may look better- more balanced, like a mini M5 (which I loved except the SMG). When I was researching the car, some of the Brits (much more objective then most of us on this side) said the coupe looked a little "long in the snoot"... Anyway, I really like the looks and even get some "thumbs up" from other drivers which surprised me and my wife. Here's another pic that looks better. I wanted to try it out on some twisty mountain roads and unexpectedly ran into some snow. The "all weather traction control" worked well.

Thanks- the lift was from American Custom Lifts and it costs little more than a nice set of wheels and tires. It does take a few minutes to move out the bottom car, lower the top one and reverse it all at the end of the day so not great for an everyday thing- perfect for the weekend driver.

Thanks fellow M3'rs. My son just took off in it (and I hope it comes back in one piece). TC- the 914-6 is a 1970, all stock, restoration with mostly NOS. Not real fast compared to the M3 but still fun and handles like a mid-engine gokart. So many 914-6's were modified that it's unusual to see one like this. The M3 is my favorite right now.
