I believe thats Dado in the M3, very good driver, he is one the main drivers in the Mischief crew. Many vids oh him drifting his turbo M3 around

Driver's name is Luka Marko Groselj, he's Slovenian. 3 time Austrina drift champ, german vice-champ woon all races in Italy that he competed in ... Beat most of the guys that are winning european pro series at the races at which they met ...
He's also manufacturing drifting diffs for BMW M3's (E36 mostly), they are used by a lot top european M3 drifters ...

He uses the handbrake and that E36 has a special drift setup. We do this with stock setups. Nice but no sweat.

And those are specially prepared BMW's too, Olaf Commijs, Paul Vlasblom:tested the SSII E90 M3 sideways, youtube, and Tom Coronel(yes the man doing 7:22 with the Viper ACR at the Nordschleife)

still great because the driftspeeds are in excess of 100mph and sometimes 120mph.

I like the engine. He almost certainly had to do some rear subframe reinforcements.

This (original post) is the guy that beat Vlasblom at every race in whichy they competed together ...
Won german championship round with a 100% stock car once once (green E36 M3 GT in Hockenheim) ...
And the red E36 is stock, only change was shorter diff ... It was a daily driver.

Griz: Yellow E36 had no reinforcements and after few months the floor of the car had a crack you coulsd put your fingers through ...

He is good and you can also increase your tyrepressure at the back to get the car easier in an oversteer situation. I never do that because my car is my daily driver and I want to feel the car like it is: bone stock.

Actually, that makes car harder to control. Too bouncy. Normal street pressures are quite OK ... And alway better tires at the back or, if $$$ permits, 4 equal good tires with as much grip as possible.
Winter tires at the back, high pressures, old tires and stuff like that is for children ... It's no fun sliding around at low speeds.

i kinda agree with you. since drifters use throttle to shift the center of gravity of the car to the rear back and forth to adjust the level of grip from the backend. i guess having low grip tires on the back end would just make the car twitchy. i don't know much about drifting but i think initiate oversteer on a car isn't that hard, but to maintain and control the slide is the art.

Exactly by using/pumping the throttle a bit more and opposite locking the steering bit by bit. A bumpy rear makes the car go into oversteer faster, that's true.

It's great fun I'm making roundabout and left/right combinations when it's raining, better for my tyres

The ultimate stock driftcar:E90M3 imho.

When you are maintaining the drift, powering on, the M differential is giving you a lot of 'traction' meaning you are accellerating so fast, you have to be careful at what speed you approach the next bend... just like my former E46 M3. Compared to let's say a 130i or E30 325i, they are pretty driftable(if equipped with a lsd) but they don't speed up as fast as the M cars do.

This, for instance is where I live and with a lsd equipped 130i you can make long drifts in 3rd gear, like my mate Andre shows you:
