FYI - Style 189 Rims won't fit without spacers

I picked up a set of staggered 189 rims to use as winter rims with 225/40/18 and 245/40/18. Given the size of the brakes and the offset the front wheels won't fit without a spacer. I plan on using 10mm H&R spacers up front and 15mm in the rear since the 189's are recessed 11mm in the front and 27mm in the rear with this setup. I would use a bigger spacer in the rear but I wanted to leave the option of using snow cables in extreme conditions. Has anyone used these snow cables? http://www.scc-chain.com/Traction%20Pages/Trac_SZ6.html
