What happens if you drive with the wrong transmission oil in your DTC gearbox

What is the result of driving your DTC M3 if the dealer has put the wrong transmission oil in. Is the damage to the gearbox immediate upon driving a few miles or is the damage a slow process or does it take 100 miles of driving?

X5 F15 M50d White, 20"rims, Yellow Calipers, Ceramic Pads. Better off saying what it does not have and that's a B&O Audio System, otherwise all option boxes are ticked.

Yes the damage apparently is immediate and the only fix is a new tranny.

If you do a search you will see that this has been discussed several times already.

Wow has this already happened? Technicians that have taken the M3 training course are the only ones to work on them and should know that DCT units can only take a certain fluid.

The list price for a new DCT transmission is around $10,000 plus labor.

Also, not sure if anyone knows about this but the wet clutch unit is not sold separately. You have to buy a whole transmission which comes with it. It's not like a clutch kit you can buy like on an E46 M3 SMG or non DCT transmission.

Hope you guys have a plan to extend the warranty if it fails.
