What do you do when you don't like either candidate?

I am not a fan of either candidate, is it wise for me NOT to vote or vote just because? I feel it's wiser for me not to vote unless there is someone I truly believe in as a whole. What do you all think?

Well if I had to chose it'd be Obama but is it right to vote when you only have 50% of your beliefs behind it?

I am not sure you need to be a fan as much as agree with one on the issues you believe are most important. I am pretty sure I would like Obama personally but he is dead wrong on just about every issue i care about.

i don't like politicians in general. anyone who is willing to go through all the bs to get in power probably isn't the type of person I want as my leader. but i vote for the least of the two evils. the issue most dear to me is the economy right now. so i'll vote for the one who i think has the greatest chance of improving it. i do wish that it was mcain v. clinton though.

A more relavent question might be was there anything at all in his speach that swayed you? Even you have to admit that was an amazing speech.

Not at all. Sounded like the same list of promises I have heard since LBJ.

What did you find so amazing?

All the things you didn't.

Are you unable to be specific? Often when I am amazed, I can explain why.

What I did was eliminated them both and picked somebody else who I know will not win, but I like some of what he says. He advocates real change, not more of the same.

Since 1980 I voted for the lesser of two evils. I am done with voting for evil.

I partially agree with the Robot on this -- promises, promises...I don't trust the Government.
HOWEVER -- the energy, optimism, hope, happiness, support (from inside and out) of Obama's rallies and of the other side is simply not to be compared.

McCain "shot himself" the moment he decided to go Bush 3, not himself from 2000...

You're never amazed -- you're a robot. You do and feel what they programmed you to...many years ago.
THat's why you still live in the 80's...
