FINALLY! - Jet Black M3

After waiting for several months I finally have my Jet Black E90 M3. I took these pics at the dealer this morning. The car is getting full hood and front fender clear bra, 50% windshield and driver/front passenger window tint, 35% rear passenger and window tint, matte black grilles, blackline rear tail lights and aluminum pedals. I will update with completed pictures and ride report Thursday. Specs are in my signature below.

Yeah, just had to wait a few months longer to get DCT in a sedan!

They are getting the carpet M3 mats which will reside in my garage. I am putting my all-weather mats from my 335 into the M3.

50% is the lightest tint they sell. It is the ceramic tint, so it blocks out a lot of the sun's heat at any percentage. It will basically be done to cut down on heat in the car. I will take a picture from the inside of the car at the front windshield so you can see what it looks like.

For now......give it a couple car washes and it wont be such a show stopper!
As nice as jet black is, thats the problem with it, its not metallic and is difficult to get the swirls out once they are (THAT is a fact)

I have had three silver cars in a row and I am ready for a change. Hopefully, this will be a good choice. I have had every color of car excpet black. I do have a monthly car wash membership that I can use as much as needed.

beware of the car wash...with black you will be best to do it yourself. i'm going to be suffering the same fate next month when mine shows up. black is great, but it takes a lot of maintenance to keep it right. a car wash will undoubtedly leave you a lot of swirls.
