What a honk!

Everything about the E9X M's has been extraordinaire. Its presence and display are everything that's tough and masculine, except the honk.....I was literally floored when I used the honk today. The sound doesn't fit well with the car. I will always have 2nd thought before using it. Hahaha.

Not loud enough for you? Or don't like the tone?

I don't like the tone, which has high pitch tone to it.

knowing the Germans, I'm sure it's some sort of DIN std, probably a tone that hearing is sensitive to...

sounds strange, works well

Can someone get a video of the HonK, please!
lol
BTW Don't honk too much, people might think you're gay or not masculine enough.

Anyway, why o'why did BMW go American for its horn? Please fix this -

my e92 355xi sounded much better than the current m3. that was why i made it this thread.

I just have my passenger seat cover roll down the window and scream at the top of her lungs. Much more effective. Just have to dodge those occasional Amber alerts from the other startled drivers.

germans cars are known for crappy honks. they sound whimpy.

horns on american cars are generally louder. louder=better and safer.

Get some Fiamm air horns. I had one on my E46 and used to scare the hell out of people with it. It's only $25 at Auto Zone or somewhere of the like.

Stock Ferrari 355 horns vs. Fiamm horns
