This one time, in band camp, I put my Pinto in S8. I just wish there had been some M3s driven by people who put them only in S7 around to race.

I think if you had 15k mile oil checked by an oil analysis lab, you'd find out that 15k IS ok for a modern, properly tuned engine. As the engine gets older, you might have to change the oil more frequently (12k miles?). I still do the 7.5k changes, but am pretty sure it's just for my peace of mind.

Most people learn as much as possible on their new ride, it doesn't seem to be the case here. Everyone knows there is no S7, everyone knows the fluid is not to be changed.

It no a case of not buying another BMW, just not for that dealership.

Best get a cold towel, wrap it around your head and sit down and read the manual. You will be amazed at the amount you will learn.
