how long did it take to receive your car after it reached the VPC? The manager at my dealer said next week and I was thoroughly disappointed even though my CA said I should have it by wednesday.

hmm i don't remember, but my car arrived at the port 4/12 and it was at the dealership on 4/22 even though I didn't pick up the car until 4/26. Hope that helps.

Is your car at the VPC yet? If the car is at the VPC, it shouldn't take more than a few days for them to deliver it to your dealer. What dealer are you buying from?

Difeo BMW in Tenefly, NJ. I'm positive it's at the VPC as it was unloaded early on the 5th.

I can't imagine it taking more than one or two days at the VPC, unless they have A LOT of cars there to prep. I would expect the car to be delivered to the dealer this week. Make sure you get a Vehicle Inquiry Report (VIR) when you sign your paperwork; the VIR will tell you if the car had any damage at the VPC. Good luck!

same dealer as mine (currently on Independence II) is headed for...now I'm really interested in hearing how long it takes you.

the VPC might be backed up from the holiday weekend though too, thats the only thing i can think of. I'd imagine they were at the least closed Friday.

out of pure curiosity, who's your CA at DiFeo?

LOL my CA just gave me the same news.

I've got an apt for Sunday to get tints put on. The car was offloaded at the port Monday morning at 8AM. hoping they prove themselves wrong and get me it before the weekend

how long after yours was unloaded (if ever) did it take for the bmw owners site to say it was at the VPC?

Right not the web site says it's "in en route to the VPC" and the 800# still says its at the port awaiting a shipping vessel despite the fact that W&W tracking by vin show that it was unloaded at 8am Monday.

update:

Just got a call from Mike @ difeo- my car is scheduled to be released to the carrier today, and should get to them late tomorrow and be ready for me to pickup friday
