The wait is finally over..1200miles inside the garage..
![]() I pulled into the garage last night and coincidently, 1200 miles shown on the dash board. Since it is Sunday, I decided to take my wife out for a nice breakfast and a quick drive. The shot was before we left for a nice drive. Still waiting to take the car in this coming week for 1200 miles service so I can fully explore the higher RPM... The best way to end the 1200 miles break-in period... Cheers |

Congrats... I am halfway there myself already with about 600miles on the dash after pickup last Fri and my leisurely drive back home to Maryland! I have to go to VA and back the week after next so that should complete my break in period nicely.
![]() Let us know if it was hard to get an appt for the service or not and what they did. Enjoy!

I live 1 1/2 miles from my work, and I only work 3 days a week. I find every excuse in the world to drive this car.

No Excuses GUYS...go out and drive the M..
I work from home..sometime too.. Instead of picking up babies in the X5, I took the M. Instead of daily drive with the E46, I use the M. Basically, I treat the M as the only car for now... ![]() |
