I actually haven't seen any prices on the 18"s so I really wouldn't know what to offer...

I was looking for $1000 USD which is half as much as you wanted. I didn't realize you were overseas also. Shipping may kill the deal too.

$1k for just the wheels or wheels & tires? I ask b/c the Michelin PS2 tires are worth $1200 alone. Good luck you guys w/whatever you end up doing. Please post (if u don't mind) what you paid so other potential future buyers (myself included) can expect to pay.

Just the wheels, I hear the track tires for 18's vs 19's have a negligible price difference.

Cool beans! The only other 18" option (I can think of) that doesn't require spacers & are low-cost are the ASA JH8's ($456 + shipping & roughly same weight as the oem wheels) from Tire Rack:

Hmm the link you sent were for 19's. here's the link for 18's... DIRT CHEAP:

Very seriously considering these. But how do you know if you need spacers and what not.

Still not sure if the rubber is really cheap enough to warrant a second set of rims

Whoops, sorry about that. At the bottom right side where it says, "included Wheel Installation Hardware" if that set requires spacers, centering rings and/or lugs it'll be listed here & Tire Rack would supply all required just like this one:

Cool... Look like to go with those 18's, and the softest tire they got (Bridgestone Expedia wear rating 160) it all comes out to $1470.

HMMMMMMMM

I literally just went on their website & those black ASA JH8's are no longer available/listed. I guess someone just bought them.
