4 looks like the surround for the vents. 5 is the ashtray replacement for non-smoker package. Check here for the non-smoker conversion.

that seems like the next "must do" mod, next to the reflector deletes.

Rear cupholders alone will not do it. You also need the euro rear console

I made the conversion on my E92 M3, and everything fit together fine.

BUT on the euro rear console I bought there are no cutouts for the lights, so I had to dremel holes into it so I could put in the lights

I bought the cup holder thinking it will fit, but it won't. You need this:

51166966475

To fit the rear cup holder

It's a simple snap-in install in place of your existing open tray in this area.

Applications list it for:

BMW E92 M3 All
BMW E93 328Ci All
BMW E93 328i All
BMW E93 335i All
BMW E93 335is All
BMW E93 M3 All

But it works in my 328iX E92 - the rear console part number between my 328 & the M3 is exactly the same.

Part numbers:

51166963909 Cup Holder - Black
51166963910 Cup Holder - Gray
51166963911 Cup Holder - Creambeige

You can get any of the above colors for $63.16 + $8 shipping = $71.16 from www.bmwparts4u.com (forum vendor)

If you just want black, you can find it here @ ECSTuning for $58.76 + $7.41 shipping = $66.17

GREAT post.
I just wonder why all the other people had to get the Euro rear panel?
I wonder if BMW used the Euro panel in all cars later on. They've been known to do that.

Ive already got the rear cup holders but the cover is a bit scratched so I was thinking of replacing them. Can anybody help me with some basic instructions uninstall/install?
