I wont disqualify someone because of their age, but McCain is pushing it. The avg life expectancy for a US citizen is 77 years old. As a president, he would have 100x the stress of an avg person, which accelerates the aging process. So i think age should be a determinant when voting. However, its not the main reason i would vote or wouldnt vote for a candidate.

I am all in favor of pointing out Barack Obama's record of voting "Present" in Illinois, and missing votes in the U.S. Senate, but it looks like two others have missed even more votes if this information is accurate. Why would there be so many missed votes for any of these three? Are they doing the people's business by being absent?

You can't self promote and vote at the same time. Also, I'm sure there are times where voting isn't "as important". Certain occasions are times when smaller bills are up for discussion and bill will pass or fail without your vote.

That may be true, but why should they get paid Senator's salary and benefits to not be there and not do their duty just so they can look for a higher paying job? Shouldn't they all be on a work improvement plan? Should they be fired? Dereliction of duty is not a small offense in the military. Why should they get a pass in congress? Some of those in the list can't stand on the excuse you made for them.

A better excuse would be that they didn't read the bill anyway, so a vote wouldn't have been prudent.

Why cant you vote for Obama? Is it because he's black or because he is a "terrorist Muslim"?
My guess is the first one.

BTW, you good old Texans ever get to have that beer with Dub?

Iran: Leader of the Sunni Movements

Paradoxically, Iran, an extremist theocratic Shiite regime with Ahmadinejad at its helm, is orchestrating and funding the activities of extremist Sunnis in the region.
The paradox is most striking in the case of Al-Qaeda, the most extremist Sunni organization, which has joined, in the full sense of the word, the Iranian apparatus...

The really funny thing is you think Ahmadinejad runs that country. So does McCain, but it's just ignorant. Propaganda at work, my uninformed dooms day voter (You).

Of course he doesn't. He and the mullahs are the frontmen for the CIA, GHW Bush, the Trilateral Commission, and the Council on Foreign Relations.
