Car Delivered with wrong options?

So I ordered my Space Grey/extended Fox Red/CF trim M3 back in June of last year. I was told I would have one of the first M3's delivered sometime in April. Then sometime in April I don't have an M3 due to the 19" wheel and extended leather delay. So now in June I get an e-mail saying my M3 has arrived. I get pictures sent from my CA the day the full loan amount arrives on his desk. The Space Gray looks great, now to the interior...Wait...What? extended Silver Novillo leather? Brushed aluminum trim? WTF!

So e-mail my CA and tell him the wrong car was delivered. He calls me and tells me that he input the interior color correctly and that the color codes were mismatched causing the mistake. He told me he has contacted BMW to see if he could get the correct car built ASAP. Will I get MY M3 before 2009?

That sux. But it does still look nice. however, I would not accept delivery either if it was not what I ordered....at least, not without major concessions.

Same thing (wrong order option) happened to a friend's M3, he wanted M-DCT, and when it was on the ship he found out it had 6MT. Within a week he had a new build week, and the car's being loaded on the ship now. SO, yes, you still have time to get one built, if BMWNA helps the dealer.

That sucks. Just when you think you are getting your car.

However, I think it looks great. I am getting that exact interior color combo but on as SSII. I think red will get tiresome after a while. This would be a great time to move into the silver leather and get a great discount in the process.

damn that sucks!!! silver leather + space gray + aluminum kinda match but that combo is so sucky, too boring for an M3.

try and find out if there's another car u can buy off a lot. that blows. i'd be super mad right now
