Led Bulbs For The M3 Interior !!!
Has anyone done this?
My buddy has an E60 M5 that was modified by Hartge and they installed LED bulbs EVERYWHERE. They changed out all the existing ugly yellowish bulbs with nice white LEDs. How would I go about finding out where and how many of each bulbs I will need?

Bimmian sells kits. Get the high power one. Shipped from Canada so no hassels.

Some people have on this forum have expressed disappointment in the quality of Bimman products / service. Has anyone actually bough this mod from Bimman, how did it turn out?
How easy / hard was the install. I would guess its a lot of work since you'd probably need to remove a lot of the cars interior panels? |

I bought interior lights from Bimmian. I didn't get the LEDs cause some people said they are very bright and don't dim well, I just got the Exenon white bulbs. They work pretty good. Bimmian was good for service I guess, didn't have to do much but put bulbs in envelope and send them. Received them quickly though.
They are all easy to put in except for the upper ones in the front. Removing that upper console is a pain in the ass. The rest were easy and it looks better than yellow stock lights

I wonder how it would look to swap out the side panel lighting on the doors. Do the regular 3 series have this? I think it's a sweet touch even though the color is orange.

swap it out to what? I think it looks pretty cool stock, if you're talking about the little strip of red above the door handle?

Ya that strip. Oh I dunno ... perhaps to white light? Not like I'd do it, but it'd be cool to see some different, mind you tasteful, colors.
