Obama finally leaves his church!

About time! To bad he didn't leave 10 years ago or so. He might have had a chance at the presidency. IMO the only reason he left is because he knows its killing him in the polls...

Too little, too late. If he couldn't figure it out until he had 20 years as a member of the church under his belt (also as personal friends with Wright and Pfleger for that long) and then to have not known until now it was a racist cult with the preachers teaching black liberation theology, then Obama is too stupid to be the President of the United States.

He is the poster child of the educated fool.

It is pretty clear to me that Obama joined this church based on what it could do for him politically and now is leaving it because of the same consideration.

One thing I must give republicans a lot of credit for is the ability to make people care about issues that have no real effect on their lives.

I think it is more a different idea of what a legitimate function of government is.

To a conservative, the standards by which the state issues a license is clearly a governmental responsibility. The failed relationship between you and your employer is not.

Again -- the wrong cause by R2D2...

Employers have to get rid of employees to meet the numbers and targets that are mostly dependent on the economy state and not employee relationship with the employer.

MOT just laid off 20% of their force in FL and at least 50% of them were top notch people. The rule is everyone working on the specific project goes... I know pwoplw that worked there for 34 years...

Obama was their prodigy who wasn't destined to wear the robe, but to be groomed for government. Whether from the church pulpit or the presidential podium, he would still seek the same ends. His church, spiritual advisors, closest friends, associates, and acquaintances are racist. What are the chances he is racist?

For me, very little. Do you find the examples of what has been said in the pulpit by Jeremiah Wright and by Michael Pfleger to indicate their own racism against whites?

I'd want to agree with you, but in this case he is hardly being 'groomed'. It appears that Obama will be victorious (good or bad?? who knows). I dont really like any of our candidates for this presidential race. I dont like Clinton, I dont care for Obama. Mccain, he just seems angry.

It sucks, but I'd prob. choose Clinton even though I cant stand her...
