just a question out of curiosity though, do people actually buy V wheels? i feel like everyone goes for BBS, HRE, Volk or something that's only like expensive ass performance wheel manufacturers. so these will make it to market?

I wouldn't write a set of wheels off because they are "overpriced". Most of these high end forged wheels like Vorsteiner, HRE, DPE, Enkreuz and the like use extremely high grade materials that warrant such a price. Their combo of attention to detail, full customization, weight, strength and design are certainly something to consider beyond just price.
