M1 comming, would you buy it?

With the M1 concept shown, and BMW's habit of making its concepts into production cars we cant help but be excited for BMW as they mount an attack on Audi R8 and possibly Ferrari, Lamborghini and Aston Martin. But here is where I am divided, while I love BMW to death, I dont know if I would buy a BMW super car, I would rather have an Italian exotic. So an important question, if money and reliability were no issue to you what would you rather buy, a German exotic like an R8, 911 or M1 or would you go F430, Gallardo, V8Vantage etc.?

I would want none of the above, I just bought a M3. I don't need/want anything more unless I win the lottery, then I might buy a GT2 or GT3 for the track.

i think i'd agree with you... if money were no object, i'd rather go for an italian exotic and not an R8 or M1

It's just the greatest BMW ever! This new concept is paying homage to the original M1 30years ago, which was a supercar decades ahead of it's time.

I am assuming that is just an artistic homage to the old M1 rather than a new BMW supercar to challenge the R8
