No Worries Brother It will still drive the same! Ask them if they can warranty the work for a set amount of time any future problems will be covered.

It will be fine. The only questions are the attention to detail and durability of the finish over time. I'm sure they will stand behind it. Try not to let it dampen your enthusiasm for your new car. I wouldn't hurry them either.

Sorry about the scratch but I think it should be fine if its just a small one. I would have them fix it and still take delivery.

Paint job is done. There are some imperfections but not very noticeable. So in the end they gave me 1000 off. Better but still not very happy. Oh well. Time to break in.

What kind of imperfections? A lot can be corrected if it's in the clearcoat layer.

Trust me, after a year or two the front bumper would not have stayed perfect anyway. If the job is acceptable, take the discount and roll. Now go have fun and congrats by the way.

Finally made home after 4 hours of clear bra and 4 hours of driving. The clear bra on the bumper pretty much covered up all the imperfections.

Impressions of the M? It feels so much more "raw" than my 335xi. Really love the M-diff; I can feel it coming in to action on bends. It just torques the car into the right direction so effortlessly. The engine is just a total monster waiting to be unleashed... Not until 1200 miles that is.

I guess i can finally rest in peace now. More later.

That's a good idea going with clear bra on the front. Durability of your refinished bumper should not be a problem at all with the extra protection. Now you can get that behind you and enjoy your car. Congrats and have fun with it!

Send a message via MSN to montreal red
think the manager giving you 500 bucks back is a pretty fair deal... usually they wont even give anything back. they'll just offer to fix it.
