EDC [Normal Mode] vs Non EDC : Any performance difference?

Just wondering, for the 1, maybe 2, times I will track this car a year, is it worth spending the $1K on EDC if I would be leaving it on Normal setting anyways for my daily driving. Its a nice feature to have but how often will you be switching settings and how much better will the car perform?? I had a Porsche Cayman S with the standard suspension and it was great; I am sure BMW puts in a lot of track time to get the best standard suspension for their M cars. Has anybody test driven EDC vs Non EDC ? What has been your experience?

Unless you're getting ZTP, I would pass on EDC. Some folks will disagree... just my $0.02 with what limited experience I've had playing with it so far.
