1200 mile service problem

Just got my 1200 mile service today. It took the dealership 4 hours, and apparently the oil filter is back ordered nationwide (or so I was told). I need to bring it back for a filter change when they become available. Has anyone else had this problem?

always sucks when the dealer runs out of oil filters....

Wow, you hit 1200 miles already? I'm only at 300 so far. I can't wait for the break in period to be over.

Is the 1200 mile service just engine, trans, and diff oil?

10-60 according to the manual same as the E46 M3

I brought my car in and they didnt have anything to service the 1200 mile service. they have it on order for me so when they get it I will have to come in again...

Well, i just got the call from my dealer and it's the same story. They changed all the fluids, but I'll have to bring it back to replace the filters.
