just curious if I walk into my dealer Monday and place an order for a dct m3 will I get it in june or am i looking much later?

u probably will get it mid-june unless there's delays on DCT still

i already have had an order in for months but i went into another dealer just for kicks, he told me july or august depending on dealer allocation

Well full-scale production starts June, lets say theres no one in front of you with a M-DCT order. Order starts first week, takes about a week to make the car, then a few weeks for shipping/prep/etc. You'll probably get it late June, August if west coast. Lets say that your dealer has like 10 people waiting for M-DCT and they can only allocate 5, then your stuck with a August delivery.
