If you were here simply to sell cars, I'd point you to the for sale section. But, you have been an active participant in the forum by providing useful information on several occasions, a BMW dealer's perspective, and I find that useful. I do believe that you truly mean to help us M3 freaks out in your own way; I don't have a problem if you make some money in the process. BMW3R might not have seen your previous posts, so I guess his point is also understandable.

So, when can I have my free M3 floormats shipped then?

What's your take on the M3 market by the way? Demand seems surprisingly soft to me. Probably the state of the economy?

You Epacy, are constantly a problem on this site with thread jack re-post BS. GET A LIFE!
Give the attitude a rest, timsev is incredibly helpful and by no means taking advantage of anyone.

When did BMW3R say timsev was trying to take advantage of anyone? He was just adding to the community (as was timsev) by stating that there was availability at his dealership too.

I'll send them out today.

And I'm not sure what's going on with the market right now. We have had a TON of people come to look at the car but that's about it. I think that the massive price increase over the last model might have turned a lot of the ///M community off. Wait until people start seeing these cars out on the road. They will eventually see the value of this car. I saw a coupe on Saturday night and I can't even describe what it looked like going down the road. The presence of the M3 on the street just blew me away. Much more than any M5/M6 when I first saw it.

You also have to look at what happened with this release. BMW was just toying around with everyone for the past 3-4 months. I know a lot of people that got fed up with BMW's antics and went for the RS4 or 911.

Exactly. I was about to jump ship because of this in January and seriously considered alternatives. This whole launch thing was poorly handled by BMWNA. This was not a pleasent experience for me overall considering I am more than willing to write a check for $70k. Anyway, thanks for the insights.

Old geezer? Sounds like you're talking about me...

Anyway, don't shun the old geezers because they are the ones that will most likely have the $$ to buy this great car.

+ Every number ever thought of

I never dreamed I would have such a hard time getting someone to take my $70k. Was an eye-opener. Perhaps I should just keep my money to myself.

I posted a link to your thread on another forum where a chap from Chi was looking for one. Hopefully, he contacted you today as he said he would.

Thanks. I talked with someone in that area yesterday. I'm sure it was the same guy. Much appreciated.

Well, I thought this car was sold, but the buyer just backed out. So, it's up for grabs again.

Update, guys. I'll take another $500 off the price. This is the only car in the U.S. that I know of going for under MSRP (besides Epacy's). Come on people!

Wow, now here's a guy who knows how to sell a car.

Cat's outta the bag now though - prepare to be inundated with requests to order M3's @ under MSRP. Too bad you don't get as many allocations as you can sell, eh?

Anyway I'll definitely consider you when its time to buy.
