Nah, it didn't confuse me more. You actually did the opposite...made my understanding of Melbourne red metallic better.

Jason, the first 2 (of the 3 total) posts of those links was at the local dealership & I test drove that exact Melbourne red metallic M3.

They were really selective as to who can test drive it. Anyway, all I can say is that seeing this color in person on Friday made me feel better b/c this is the color I ordered. Pics don't really do it justice.

MB red + cf roof + dark colored 19" wheels = HAWTNESS!
