SO yesterday i had the pleasure to speak with a very wealthy bmw enthusiast,he had over +30 BMW's,and he had a BMW there that i had never seen before. I drove the car, and it was a blast to drive. Now the question that i am trying to make is if you guys know what car this is.

I had no clue until this guy told me!! HERE IT IS,and let the games begin.

Z1 is right. There is a guy in my area who owns one in Forest Green... very rare.

I wish i did, i didn't have a camera with me. By the way his z1 wasn't just an ordinary z1, it was an alpina which they only made 66 of them. What I also got to drive was a BMW 2002 turbo, in the rally colors, which he said was a very rare car.

So how about we keep this THREAD going and people keep adding new photos and we get to guess what the BMW is.

Hey are Z1's legal to drive in the US? They just don't seem safe without doors.

The have doors, they slide into the sills....that's what made them so cool. I don't think they were ever certified into the US. These are best exhibition/collectors' car status here. Btw they're based mostly on the BMW E30.

I really have no idea what that 2nd car is. I cant find it anywhere, and i hope that was never a production vehicle, because it looks horrible.

These cars and design shaped BMW's future. I love the direction their heading in now! those designs look (excluding the z1) like something VW, SEAT or fiat would have done
